Welcome to The Lion!

A great place to hang out in the heart of Stoke Newington. Our Pub offers you a cozy bar, two fireplaces, a games room with pool table, Bonzini foosball table, darts, pinball machine and juke box, as well as a beautiful garden under a canopy with heater for those chilly London winter nights.

Come and join us for a beer, take part in Captain Barrett's Quiz night, watch football on our huge HD screen, indulge in Chu-i's fortnightly art festival, listen to local band & DJs or the once a month ukele night (beginners welcome). Whatever your poison, it's all here!

Did you know that The Lion isn't our only venue? We also own The Three Crowns on the corner of Stoke Newington Church Street and the High Street, as well as the King's Cross Social Club on Britannia Street.
